Hidden Hitch and Reese both make an excellent Trailer Hitch
Hidden hitch Reese trailer hitch takes pride in having engineered the to and
fro movement out of hitches which in turn generates vertical movement. Reese
trailer hitches are custom designed to fit your vehicle and they are engineered
to compliment the rear design of your vehicle. Nowadays trailer hitch system
utilizes air bags to absorb the shock, bounce and vibration that usually come
with pulling a trailer with a hard connected hitch for towing which allows the
trailer to make a to and fro motion on its natural axis as it was originally
designed to do. Air springs can be added to the truck and to the trailer,
without creating any problem even if there is a hard hitch connection. A
customer wanting hitch connection cannot need air suspension on the trailer or
truck can apply for it.
Reese has manufactured a quality hitches for towing of the vehicles. Its feature
include a 6 "side-to-side pivot to adjust with the hookups on rough surfaces for
to make towing comfortable. This trailer hitch can be installed very easily and
is compatible for the fully loaded trailer. The hitch has a couple of jaw for
locking the system. The cushioned handle can be easily released.
For installing the fifth wheel hitches the connections are made. T-Connectors
having a plug that attaches to existing connectors in the tow vehicles wiring
harness for installation are used. In order to start towing these trailers with
hitches wiring is done through the T- connector installation. This connects
directly to wire harness. The second is to install a tail light converter using
wiretaps that easily pierce the wire insulation and wires on both the connector
and the trailer. Wire taps applied for installations, where the wiring harness
is inside the trunk of the trailer while the ground wire is connected.
In order to pull a trailer or for towing your boat one can count on Reese. For over 45 years, Reese is offering quality products engineered for safety and
useful mechanisms they perform. Class III/IV High Performance Custom Receivers
offer Up to 5,000 lb. towing weight and 500 lb. tongue weight
depending upon the vehicle's maximum towing capacity.
Due to these hitches the to and fro movement is caused by the trailer sending
energy through the solid connection of hitch into the truck.
On hitting a hole in the road, because front axle of the trailer rebounds which
in turn simulates the rear axle to hit the hole. At this point, energy is being
sent through the solid connection of hitch in the truck, and the trailer feels
the impact. A moment later; the trailer hits this same hole and then energy is
transmitted through the hard connected hitch again. This is to and fro movement. The idea of the air bags in fifth wheel hitches is to absorb this energy and
dissipate it.
